Almost nobody knows, but this is the right way of parking an aircraft
One interesting callsign…
I present the classic TS1 Pilot. A man tries to get a 747 into the air at London City Airport.
Here we see a guy on Expert, landing with his refueling boom down. Surprisingly, he didn’t crash!
This afternoon I almost had a collision with someone at my altitude but thankfully they were a little less than 1 km from me. I am guessing this is rare.
I saw this guy stalling at takeoff in expert server.
But everyone on ts1 thinks “hey if the planes don’t touch it don’t matter lol.
The wings are clearly touching each other though…
At least since from Laura’s great invitation no one spawns on anyone
5nm is the legal requirement I think.
hes having a network issue so you cant rely on what the servers is showing
Nah he took of and stalled, then he rage quited and that’s why it said network issues (because he wasn’t there anymore)
Also it didn’t show that he had issues until he was underground.
Or at least that’s what I think happened…
Maybe there’s a tailwind?
(Idk why he’d be landing with one though…)
Tailwind would mean faster speeds.
It is possible he is landing in a very strong headwind, upwards of 30-35 knots would mean he is still landing at a safe speed, but even with that 120-knot approach is on the very low end for a 787.
Tailwind: higher GS, lower IAS
Headwind: Higher IAS, lower GS
So he would need a headwind to have a lower groundspeed…
Oh no not again
I was doing some stunts at KLGA
I’m still yet to taxi all the way across Australia or the US. I will do it one day. Thanks for the reminder
