British Airways Flight 274
Hello everyone, and welcome to another SimplyAllegiant tripreport! On this flight, we will be flying from beautiful Las Vegas to London, England!
The day started out pretty early for me. I had to wake up at about 5 A.M. To catch a GA flight over to Reno to see some family for christmas. I then got back on the C172, and headed back to KLAS. We got there at about 5:15 P.M. I then headed on over to Terminal E and waited for my flight. I decided to wait to eat as I had preorded a meal during the flight. At about 6:10 our aircraft arrived! It was a beautiful 747-436, Callsign G-CIVH. I was able to get a great view of the arrival too! (Sadly it was dark out). At about 7:05 we boarded the aircraft. I got to my seat and sat down. Legroom was okay, but it could have been worse. Couple minutes after I got sat down, the Flight Attendant came on the P.A. to tell us to look at our screens about the pre-flight and safety instructions. We then started our push and start to the RWY. We finally got to the Runway, and immediately took off, because of traffic on final. We were now on our way to EGLL!
While we were over Nebraska, the FA’s started passing out Dinner. I went with the Taste of Britain for 16 Euros. It consisted of the following items:
:Loch Fyne smoked salmon with crème fraîche and caper berries
:Slow-roasted Wiltshire pork belly with celeriac mash and sautéed broccolini
:Summer berry pudding with Cornish clotted cream
:Cheddar cheese and crackers
Overall it tasted excellent! Here is what it looks lik on their website!
After that I fell asleep, and accidentally over slept. So when I woke up, I woke up to the sound of the fasten seat belt sign came on. I quickly but it on and got ready for approach into London Heathrow. After a good 25 minute approach we were on the ground. A planespotter even got a photo of us landing too!
After that we taxied to the gate and waited for jetbridges to connect. After waiting, and waiting, and a little more waiting they finally comnected. We got off the aircraft and walked to the terminal.
Thank you to British Airways for giving me excellent service! And I hope to see you all read my next tripreport! Bye for now!
