I never knew Virgin Atlantic operate a 744 out of Heathrow. I thought they were all based in Glasgow and Manchester.
It operated out of LGW, then MAN and now LHR. It briefly became a B789…
What do you mean? The 747 used to be based at MAN and LGW?
I see that Flightaware says it is a 789, but it isn’t. Planespotters.net, Jetphotos, Flightradar24 and a simple google images search all agree with me, it’s a 747.

Why is a Thomson Plane on Tahiti?
It is a charter perhaps, I’m not sure.
Probably a glitch
yeah, a glitch! 😉
There was also an icelandair at Auckland
Many glitches around.
Might of sone the route IRL?
Raya Airways 727
And I just saw this plane depart HLP and rapidly climb to FL470 which is really high
Possibly a leg of Thomson around the world.
I’ve been there, it’s not that bad actually. Pretty nice airport.
